Continuing Education Credits

USF Health will provide continuing education credits for the ATA Annual Conference and Trade Show, including credit for physicians, nurses, and psychologists as well as Florida-licensed clinical social workers, licensed marriage and family therapists, mental health counselors, and occupational therapists.  Any attendee wishing to obtain continuing education credits from attendance at the meeting must indicate such an interest at the time of registration for the Annual Meeting or AFTER  the meeting by completing an USF Continuing Education Attendance Verification Form online please follow the directions listed below.

To obtain your CE certificate online:

  2. Enter your email address and password as a new user or existing user
    (If you don’t have an existing password, click the ‘Forgot Password’ link and you will receive an auto-generated password via e-mail)

  3. Please do not create a new profile as you will not be able to claim CEUs under this added profile.

  5. Attest to the number of hours you attended (see PDF online for calculation assistance).  Be sure to enter in the following format XXX.XX

Objectives

ATA’s Annual Conference and Trade Show is the premiere forum for the healthcare industry to discuss clinical and business issues related to telemedicine. Throughout the meeting there will be courses and concurrent sessions focusing on educating healthcare professionals and the public about telemedicine.

After attending this conference, participants should be able to:

  1. Develop pathways for the productive use of telemedicine by employing successful business models.

  2. Implement a strategy to overcome key barriers to the deployment of telemedicine by addressing legal, financial and administrative issues.

  3. Network and collaborate with colleagues in the field of telemedicine to build an international base for ongoing collaboration and knowledge building.

  4. Improve patient safety and outcomes by understanding and implementing current clinical and industry policies, standards and best practices to maximize the effectiveness of their telemedicine program.

Target Audience
ATA’s educational courses and sessions are designed for clinical, technical and administrative professionals who work in the field of telemedicine. No prerequisite knowledge or skills are required to participate in these activities. The target audience includes physicians, nurses and psychologists (APA – Level of learning: Intermediate) as well as Florida-licensed clinical social workers, licensed marriage and family therapists, mental health counselors, and occupational therapists.

Florida Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, Licensed Mental Health Counselors
USF Health is an approved provider of continuing education credits for clinical social work, marriage and family therapy, and mental health counseling. This program has been reviewed and approved for up to 23, 50-minute contact hours. 

Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, Licensed Mental Health Counselors not licensed in the state of Florida will have to contact their state licensing or credentialing agency to determine if or how a Florida certificate can be converted for use in their state.

Florida Licensed Occupational Therapists
USF Health is an approved provider of continuing education for Occupational Therapy Licensees. This program has been reviewed and approved for up to 23.10 50-minute contact hours. Licensee numbers are required prior to the issuance of certificates.

Occupational Therapists not licensed in the state of Florida will have to contact their state licensing or credentialing agency to determine if or how a Florida certificate can be converted for use in their state.
