Ancillary Meeting Space

Ancillary meetings are non-ATA sponsored events that are held in conjunction with the ATA 2016 Annual Meeting. Examples of ancillary functions are business meetings, receptions, or other social gathering.

Ancillary functions may only be hosted by ATA Affiliates, Exhibitors, Supporters, or organizations otherwise associated with ATA.

All requests for ancillary meetings must be completed online and approved by ATA Headquarters

Please note there is no fee for hosting an event during ATA 2016.

No Ancillary Meetings may be scheduled during the following ATA events:

* Hotels are not permitted to book meeting space without the authorization from ATA.

Meeting Space for Ancillary Meetings

There are a limited number of meeting rooms at the convention center. Additionally, ATA has secured a number of small meeting rooms at local hotels which can also be rented.

These Meeting Room rental fees are listed below. However, the meeting organizer is responsible for payment of any charges incurred, including but not limited to, food & beverage; audio & visual equipment, labor; internet service, etc.

  • Meetings under 4 hours: $250

  • Meetings over 4 hours: $500

Meeting space is available on a first come first serve basis at: Minneapolis Convention Center, Hilton Minneapolis (Headquarter Hotel), Hyatt Regency, Millennium Hotel, Hotel Ivy and Holiday Inn Express Hotel.

Groups are welcome to book at other venues but please note room rental fees will be significantly higher.

After you have received your meeting room assignment, the Convention Service Manager will be able to discuss food and beverage and audio visual equipment requests. All coordination for your event should be done between the hotel Convention Service Manager and ATA Staff.

Hospitality Suites

A hospitality suite is the perfect solution for having a dedicated private meeting space at the Minneapolis Convention Center. Hospitality Suites are located in the Expo Hall and give you convenience of meeting space that is aisles away, not miles away.
